Commodity Supplemental Food Program - "Senior Boxes"
Broad Street Ministry is partnering with Philabundance, the region's most-innovative food relief organization, to provide monthly supplemental food packages to
qualified seniors through a Federal food program in Pennsylvania.
The packages include:
- cereal
- pasta
- milk
- vegetables
- fruit juice and fruit
- non-meat protein
- cheese
If you are a resident of Philadelphia county, are at least 60 years
of age, and your income falls at or below 130% of the Federal Poverty Income guidelines (less than $14,000/year for a family of 1) you qualify for this program.
We are signing people up on an ongoing basis as well as on Thursdays
during Breaking Bread.

In addition to our urgent needs of NEW womens' underwear in larger sizes and NEW or GENTLY
USED mens' jeans, there is an even easier way to help us meet dire clothing needs of our guests:

program leaders will be able to go out and get exactly what is needed.

It's an easy way to provide tax-deductible support for all the programs at BSM. The BSM Capital One Card is like any other "rewards" credit card except that all the rewards are donated to BSM.

Keep the ART SUPPLY flow going!
Breaking Bread's therapeutic arts participants continue to grow in number and their artistic interests are diversifying-- and we need your help in continuing to offer our
artists opportunities to create fantastic and expressive art.
Help sustain this creative and life-giving ministry by donating some art supplies from our wish-list:
- fabric scraps or ribbons
- glue sticks & elmer's glue
- small canvases (8x10" or smaller)
- scrapbooking papers, stickers, decorative scissors, etc
Bring what you can to the office during the work week, or on Sunday nights.

You won't want to miss our
OPEN MIC NIGHT: THIS FRIDAY!
May 7th @ 7 p.m.
Join us for a night full of art, spoken word, and live music coordinated by Hatboro Horsham High School student Dan
Berlin.
Dan has been coming with Partnership to volunteer once a month at Breaking Bread, and his experiences have inspired him to write a collection of poems,
as well as organize this open mic night.
Performances will feature other Hatboro Horsham students as well as members of BSM's community.
Come on out to this FREE event, and enjoy theartistic contributions of this eclectic community.
