THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
For joining us for BSM's 5th Birthday Celebration, whether you were present with us or there in spirit.
Our community does not exist without YOU...and for that we are all deeply grateful.

A special thank you to all of those involved in planning and creating our Birthday Celebration, including J.J. Tiziou, whose interactive photobooth captured the beauty of all the faces of BSM.

A Different way to help BREAKING BREAD:
In addition to donating art supplies, NEW womens' underwear in larger sizes and NEW or GENTLY USED mens' jeans and t-shirts, there is an even EASIER way to help us supplement the services provided at Breaking Bread:
Donate a gift certificate from Target or Macy's and program leaders will be able to go out and get exactly what is needed.

 LAST MONDAYS:
A Dinner Theatre like no other!
Come check out the first of many:
Monday, June 28th $5 at the door
7p.m. @ BSM

Beginning in June BSM will be partnering with the Hybridge Arts Collective to present a multidisciplinary performing arts series called Last Mondays.
This low cost dinner and theater event will feature experimental, outrageous, and maybe even dangerous performances that seek to create a new understanding of the relationship between artist and performer.
Each evening will end in an opportunity to interact with writers, directors, and performers about their process.
We hope this partnership will not only bring challenging and thought provoking performances to a diverse audience, but give a variety of artists both established and outsider the opportunity to live into their calling as creators.
Artists wishing to help create this experience are invited to contact Liam O'Donnell, our Arts Marshal, at liam@broadstreetministry.org.

Dispatch from the Seminary House:

The Seminary Immersion Program just wrapped up its inaugural year where three seminary students, Kathryn Cooke, Susan Tindall and Mike Watson, immersed themselves in the life of Broad Street Ministry, our sister congregation Arch Street Presbyterian Church, and the great city of Philadelphia.
By embracing the notion that all ministry is contextual, they were able to witness and practice BSM’s nature of radical hospitality, wrestle with the question, “Who is my neighbor?”, practice the craft of ministry, and weave themselves into the fabric of this community.

We’re grateful for their work and ministry.
Mike is with us through the summer, Susan is staying to focus on a fall conference, and Kat journeys to a Camden chaplaincy.
For more information about the Seminary Immersion Program, contact Becky White Newgren at becky@archstreetpres.org
