An Invitation to Come and See YI Day Immersions

With the dawn of the 2017 calendar year, the Youth Initiative is looking forward to our first full calendar year of offering Day Immersions, and we want you to Come and See them! What more BSM-esque way to introduce a new program than by showing it to you rather than just telling you about it!

We are so excited to be welcoming Day Immersions into the Youth Initiative family, and we’re even more thrilled that it is growing the YI family beyond youth. Day Immersions are creative and flexible short-term experiences with BSM for any kind of group, of any age – the only stipulation is that you yearn to serve and have a hunger for learning more about deep justice.

So Come and See! Come and See how you and your coworkers can volunteer at BSM’s Hospitality Collaborative and dig deeper into the justice issues facing our guests through an interactive and information workshop on any issue of your choosing.

Come and See how members of your church mission or outreach committee can re-imagine church giving and service through sustainable, relational, and educational opportunities at BSM.

Come and See how BSM is actively working to build a better future for our guests by educating present and future leaders of our churches, corporations, city, and nation.

Come and See events are taking place on February 2, February 10, and February 15, and include volunteering with the Hospitality Collaborative, an in-house prepared meal, and a tasting of how Day Immersion events can inform and shape your continued service to bringing a better, more just Philadelphia.
