A Blessing and a Curse

Rev. Andy Greenhow brings us a word from James 3:1-12.This section of the letter of James tells us to be careful of the way we speak to one another. The words we use in conflict do not necessarily mean we are cursing someone. We are able to be in conflict while still loving someone. Being polite does not necessarily mean we are blessing someone. Sometimes when we are polite we can actually be cursing someone. Throughout our year together we are challenged to remember: 1. We can have conflict without cursing; 2. Politeness is not the same as blessing; and 3. We must be governed by love for one another in how we speak.
