Thank you for your interest in donating to Broad Street Ministry’s Clothing Boutique & Personal Care!
We can receive donations between 8:30 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Please fill out our In-Kind Donation Receipt Form and schedule your donation drop-off. Drop off is located right at our front desk (315 S Broad Street Philadelphia, PA). We ask that you please launder the clothing prior to dropping off your donation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make a donation on the weekend?
Our building is closed on the weekends, We are happy to accept scheduled donations Mon-Fri.
Do you have any specific needs at the moment?
Specific needs: winter hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters/hoodies, jeans, sweat pants, khaki/cargo pants, shoes, sweat pants, belts, backpacks, purses, and coats. High need: Men’s coats.
Do you accept used underwear and socks?
We do not accept used underwear and socks, with the exception of gently used bras.
Does clothing need to be new?
Clothing does not need to be new. If you are going to donate used clothing, we prefer that it be gently used and still in great condition.
Is there any type of clothing you do not accept?
At the moment we are not accepting children’s clothing. We also do not accept used socks and used underwear.
Are you accepting women’s clothing?
We are accepting women’s clothing.
Do you take children’s clothes?
We do not currently accept children’s clothing. *See below
Do you take bedding?

Do you take furniture?
We do not accept household items. *See below
Do you accept donations of toiletries?
We accept donations of travel sized toiletry, but regular sized soap is also fine!

Our Wishlist is kept up-to-date with items we need. Consider purchasing items from there.
We have a couple suggestions if you find that Broad Street Ministry does not need the item(s) that you’d like to donate:

Additional Suggestions:
- Donate your items to a secondhand store. Philly AIDS Thrift offers over $100K of grant support to community nonprofits and Goodwill provides employment assistance to people in need.
- Directly give your items to a person in need at freecycle
- Consider recycling the items with Retrievr
