Thank you for your interest in donating to Broad Street Ministry.
Due to the COVID-19 situation our donation hours are now weekdays from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Feel free to drop off your donation by our front desk (315 S Broad Street Philadelphia, PA) at any of these times. Making an appointment is not necessary.
Please note: We are no longer accepting women’s clothing (with the exception of bras, handbags, footwear, coats, and anything bigger than a 3x)! We simply do not have the space to accept anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I make a donation?
On weekdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. No need to make an appointment! Drop off is near the front desk.
Can I make a donation on the weekend?
No. Our staff is scheduled weekdays only.
Are you accepting women’s clothing?
We are no longer accepting women’s clothing (with the exception of bras, handbags, footwear, coats, and anything bigger than a 3x)! We simply do not have the space to accept anymore. *see below

Do you accept used underwear and socks?
No, we do not accept used underwear and socks, with the exception of gently used bras.
Does clothing need to be new?
No, but gently-used is preferred.
Do you take children’s clothes?
No. *see below
Is there any other type of clothing you do not accept?
At the moment we are not accepting dress clothes. This means, no suit jackets (but slacks are welcome!), men’s button down shirts, dresses, skirts or high heel shoes. *see below

Can I donate prepackaged toiletry kits?
No, but please email us specifics if you plan on making any other toiletry donation.
Do you have any specific needs at the moment?
With the beginning of winter and the change of seasons, donations of cardigans, sweaters, jackets, and coats are more than welcome! We are also always in great need of men’s pants, jeans and sweat pants!
Can I make a monetary donation?

Our Wishlist is kept up-to-date with items we need. Consider purchasing items from there.

Additional Suggestions:
- Donate your items to a secondhand store. Philly AIDS Thrift offers over $100K of grant support to community nonprofits and Goodwill provides employment assistance to people in need.
- Directly give your items to a person in need at freecycle
- Consider recycling the items with Retrievr
