Farm Fresh Produce from Carversville Farm!

Last month we were thrilled to engage in a brand new partnership with Carversville Farm Foundation in Bucks County, PA.! This fantastic organization provides high-quality, fresh, organic produce, free-of-charge– to populations who lack access to nutritious and balanced diets. Rolling Harvest, a nonprofit organization located in New Hope that collects donated produce from local farms and markets, and distributes immediately to the non-profit hunger-relief agencies helping the most needy families in the community, partners with Carversville Farm by providing volunteer labor to harvest their produce and delivers much of it to multiple hunger-relief agencies throughout the region.
Carversville Farm Foundation utilizes volunteers every Wednesday and Saturday morning to help harvest the fresh produce from their fields and get them to the shelters, food pantries and soup kitchens that provide much needed food to food-insecure populations in the Greater Philadelphia area. BSM is just one of the organizations that benefits from their generosity every week!

Jack Santry, a dedicated weekly volunteer with Broad Street Ministry for the last 4 years and a board member with Rolling Harvest made this partnership possible by introducing staff at Carversville Farm Foundation and Broad Street Ministry. This partnership helps us fulfill our mission to provide quality meals to vulnerable Philadelphians. So far Carversville Farm Foundation’s donations have been the primary ingredients in eight different meals served at BSM! Thanks to Carversville Farm Foundation and their dedicated volunteers, we are able to provide a delicious farm-to-table experience to so many of our guests. Radical Hospitality has never tasted so good!
