Last Night at BSM

November 20, 2017

Last night, we gathered to hear a meditation from Rev. Samantha Evans on Romans 12:1-13 about being invited into a radical way of living rooted in a commitment to loving God and one another, no matter what.

Listen to the sermon here.

The community offered these prayers to God:

Please pray for my stepsister **** as her due date approaches.  Also for my stepmom as she applies to nursing school, and for quick healing for my Uncle **** who was hit on his motorcycle.

Dear Father, help me to discern.

Prayers that this week will go smoothly.

Please be with **** as he battles his addiction.  Please be with those traveling for the holidays.

Almighty God–Thank you for giving me the words to say.  I pray that these next two weekends will bring more life.  It’s going to take a lot of energy, but I hope that it will bring me closer to you, to my calling, and to my love.  I love you so very much.  Thanks for loving me first.  Amen.

I don’t know how I am going to pay for my daughter’s health insurance come January.

I’m grateful for the grace shown me in this community.  Help us to be your faithful disciples.  I pray for your Peace for us all.

I pray for my identity and direction and to get through the winter and for everyone who needs healing.

Prayers for peace and wisdom in navigating areas of discomfort and growth.

Dear God…Thank you for your love–unconditional–and your mercy never-ending.  My tiredness and pain are making me extra salty.  Please forgive me for my crankiness and bad attitude.  Thanksgiving is hard without my dad.  I love you God.  Amen.
