Last Night at BSM

July 2, 2018

Last night at BSM, Ms. Bailie Gregory led us in meditating on Mark 5:21-43 where waiting can be difficult, especially when we are seeking healing.  Hope is found as the Spirit guides us to know Jesus is with us!

The community lifted these prayers to God:

Prayers.

I am praying for my **** to feel better, and for his work to be less busy.  Family: we pray that **** will have an easier time, and for **** to be less stressed and for him to feel better.

I pray for my sister’s family.  My brother-in-law has a sudden heart problem and they are waiting for answers.  My niece is having great difficulties with past trauma, and the specter of her father’s illness is exasperating her fears. Thank you.

Pray for the **** family.

Dear God–pray for **** as they get married, for my partner and his birthday this week, the waiting.  I love you. Amen.

I ask for prayer to be more understanding and gracious; as well as strength to speak out and stand strong.

Prayers for the health and mental health of my family.

Loving God, I feel you making me new.  Keep me patient.  Keep me humble.  Amen.

Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. **** has returned, and returned in good health.

A prayer of gratitude to **** and **** for their support and spiritual care during my recovery.
