Last Night at BSM
January 15, 2019

Last night at BSM, Rev. Ann-Therese Ortiz led us in meditating on Luke 3:1, 10-16, and 21-22. God embraced and called Jesus beloved. God embraces us. Can we listen for God’s word of beloved-ness to us?
Listen to the sermon here.
The faith community lifted these prayers to God:
Prayers for more divine appointments and connections, for communication restored with ****, for ways to connect and gain new clients, for ways to raise and fund the mission trip, to hear your voice again and for steps–to be guided.
I am afraid that love will not come and that I will forever be alone. I pray that someday I find someone to spend the rest of my life with.
I’m thankful for my mother and her **** years of life! I pray for her health, well-being, safety, and peace of mind. Thanks be to God.
I pray for **** who has been sick since ****. He has another doctor’s appointment, and I am anxious for answers so that he can be well again.
Help me be grounded. Help me be open. Help me be present. So, I can witness creation.
I pray for inspiration and persistence.
Prayers for my depression, give me hope, give me light. Remind me of how dearly I am loved.
I pray for growth and strength for the new year for all. Prayers for joy in the winter months.
