Last Night at BSM

March 4, 2019

Last night at BSM, Rachel Johnson led us in meditating on Mark 9:2-13 about mountaintop experiences.  The Good News is that when the vision fades, Jesus is still there; walking us down the mountain and being with us through the oft-difficult process of transformation.  Love ever present!

Listen to the sermon here.

The faith community lifted these prayers to God:

Please pray for my daughter’s emotional healing following the loss of her grandmother, ****.  Please pray for my friend **** who recently had a ****; for her healing and peace of mind.

God, thank you.  I love you, I trust you, and I aim to always live in your will.  Amen.

Prayers for my health and mental health.  Prayers for my families health.

Dear Lord, please let **** keep his job and grant him strength and peace if he does lose it. Help me to be less anxious and remember that all will be well.  Thank you always for all the blessings you have given me.  Amen

Prayers for my Uncle ****, my Aunt ****, and their sons (my cousins), especially **** (that he may find his purpose).  Prayers for my wife and our unborn child.  Prayers for my dear friends **** and ****.

Dear God, thank you for our miracle Raspberry and guidance for work lives.  Please continue to bless and guide us.  Thank you for our marriage and this loving transforming church

Prayers for those in the UMC who are facing rejection and being told their call from God is not valid, and that their bodies are less than because they love one another

How do I know what to pray for when the whole world is dying?  I pray for us as humans to stop killing each other long enough to protect the planet we live on.

Please pray for **** who just lost her husband ****.

Please be with my friend **** and her family as she is facing a difficult time in her ****. Please be with **** tomorrow during her ****.  Please be with her family in whatever next steps will need to be taken.  Please be with **** as she deals with all the issues of the loss of her mother.
