Meet Your Pastoral Fellows
December 10, 2020

We thought now might be a great time to introduce our amazing BSM Pastoral Fellows to you. Please meet:
Rachel Johnson — Rachel is a senior at United Lutheran Seminary pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree and she was recently approved for ordination as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). Rachel has been serving on the BSM Faith Team in various capacitates since January 2018.
- Rachel says this about BSM: “What I most love about Broad Street is that it’s a faith community where we actually do what Jesus would do: wholeheartedly welcome anyone who walks in the door, fight for justice in our community and our world, and show up for one another in ways that transform lives and the world.”
Anthony Sharp — Anthony is in his first year of his Masters of Music in Voice Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He first attended worship at BSM in the fall of 2018 and has been serving as a Pastoral Fellow/Intern at BSM since September 2019.
- Anthony says this about BSM: “BSM is where you go when you need to be held.”
Emma-Claire Martin — Emma-Claire is a second year student at Princeton Theological pursuing a dual Masters of Divinity and Masters of Christian Education and Formation degree. She was first introduced to BSM in the fall of 2018 as part of her Mission Year service program. She has served as a liturgist, artist, musician, and preacher in worship since then. In the fall of 2020, she began completing her seminary field education church requirement with the BSM Faith Community.
- Emma-Claire says this about BSM: “I always imagined the kingdom of God is a place where everyone can just be their true selves, but I never knew what that actually felt like until I started going to BSM.”
