Rev. Sammie Evans brings us a Palm Sunday message from Luke 19:28-40, entitled, “The Most Ironic Show on Earth.” Sammie preaches about how Palm Sunday is the beginning of the end. Everything that is about to happen is unexpected. The people expect Jesus to give them a display of power. Instead, Jesus comes riding on the foal of a donkey. This is not the sign of power the people wanted. Power however for Jesus comes in the form of serving our neighbors, loving one another as we love ourselves, and not returning evil for evil.
