This Coming Sunday at BSM

This Sunday, April 10, 2016 our Pastoral Associate for Enfolding, Julia Watkins will bring us a word from John 21:1-19.  Jesus appears after the resurrection to the disciples, and Peter is so excited to see him that he jumps out of the boat, swims to shore, hauls in the fish, and has breakfast with Jesus.  He’s eager to be with Jesus, but Jesus reminds him that following will require ongoing trust and sacrifice, not just easy faith.  Julia will be preaching on the ways Jesus calls us to serve in light of the resurrection, continuously showing up and promising to walk with us through calls that are both challenging and deeply rewarding.

We will be led in worship in: ening 1: I Have Decided to Follow Jesus, Be Thou My Vision, Nearer, My God, to Thee, Shattered and Hollow, and Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
