Jack Santry

This month we’re spotlighting a volunteer who is absolutely worth his weight in gold (he should even weigh more)!

Jack has been volunteering at Broad Street Ministry for as long as any of us can remember. He can always be counted on to show new volunteers what to do for Thursday lunches. His good humor and teaching abilities puts new folks at ease and helps them make the most of their time here.

Jack has also gone above and beyond by lugging dozens of 50 pound bags of cookie mix from Horsham, PA to BSM. That’s $1,750 worth of desserts that Jack is generously transporting here!

It goes without saying that Thursday meals run as well as they do in no small part because of Jack. Here’s to many more years of his smiling face at BSM!
