Volunteer Spotlight: Yulia Kan

This month we’re spotlighting a very special volunteer who never fails to bring smiles to the faces of guests going through the Clothing Closet. Yulia has been a mainstay in the closet for so long that it’s hard to remember a time before she was there. Yulia really embodies the calm and welcoming spirit that we try to communicate to our guests every day.

She has perfected her craft as a Clothing Closet “Personal Shopper,” assisting guests in picking out #fabulous outfits so that they always leave looking super snazzy. Her efficiency also allows us to get more guests through the closet while we’re open, so that even more people can receive these much needed items.

She is a joy to have around, and greatly adored by staff, volunteers, and guests alike. Thank you for everything you do, Yulia!
