Welcome Dallion!

March 19, 2021

We have a new staff member! Dallion has joined us in the new role, Avenue of the Arts Concierge. Broad Street Ministry collaborated with key stakeholders from the Avenue of the Arts on the creation this new concierge position to connect individuals experiencing scarcity and homelessness along the South Broad Street corridor with essential and meaningful resources in order to increase stability. He will also be a resource to the immediate community to provide trainings, create safety plans, education on barriers the unsheltered population faces, and provide resources the community can turn to in escalated situations.

Dallion has always had a love for people and the idea of community. When he and his family moved to Philadelphia, he was very eager to find a way to serve his community. After much prayer and believing, a door was opened via the Covid Prevention site, run by Broad Street Ministry (BSM), on 13th and Spruce where he served as the Site Manager. After it closed, Dallion joined Resources for Human Development as the Site Coordinator for H.E.A.R.T. Services in West Philadelphia.  He is thrilled to rejoin the BSM Family as the Avenue of the Arts Concierge. What most excites him is that both BSM’s mission and the position’s goals line up with his life’s passion–which is to help people from all walks of life by being a bridge over troubled waters.

Look out for future updates on how the community can connect with Dallion!
