This Coming Sunday at BSM

Sisters and brothers, we have a really exciting worship service planned this week! Rev. Andy Greenhow will be bringing a word from Mark 4:35-41. He will be speaking on Christ’s intervention in the world. The world is in a storm, we cry out to God, God intervenes and says, “Come on team, I was there the whole time,” and then we’re left to figure out what it means that God just did that. The good news is that you are never uncovering God’s intervention in your life alone – encountering God and God’s intervention in the storms of our lives is a team sport, and thank God for that.

John Francis will be leading us in a meaningful time of worship this Sunday.

Every Sunday after worship, we also have community engagement groups. These groups are a great way to get to know people, maybe learn something about yourselves, one another, and/or God, and get to know a few more peoples’ names. This Sunday we’ve got  three groups on deck: Fundamentalism, Spiritual Autobiography, and Prayer Group.
