Last Night at BSM
November 13, 2017

Last night, we gathered to hear a meditation from Rev. Samantha Evans on 1 Corinthians 12:14-26 about sharing our gifts, lifting up each other’s gifts, and bringing gifts on the margins to the center.
Listen to the sermon here.
The community offered these prayers to God:
I am so grateful for the people of this church, and for moments of peace in this trying week. Thank you, ****.
Please pray for: 1. Me–as God cultivates change in my life, and 2. ****–as she begins her new life in ****. May she walk with boldness where God leads her.
My cousin, ****, has a son who recently requires brain surgery for an arteriovenous malformation. He is now awake, and can eat but will need extensive physical or speech therapies, as well as follow-up surgery. His name is ****, and he is 10 years old. His mom needs help with caring for herself, being so focused on her son’s recovery. Thank you, ****.
Dearest Father–I too and grateful for all you have given and taken in and out of my life. I ask you to help me find stillness and quiet. Please heal my mom and make my family strong. Your daughter, ****.
Almighty God, help me recharge and get through these next couple of weeks. I love you. Thank you for loving me first. Amen.
Dear God–Help me be patient. Waiting for answers is one of my thorns. Thanks for being here in the waiting though. I love you. Amen.
Prayer for decision making and help figuring out my purpose in life in the upcoming season.
