Volunteer Spotlight: Chris

This month we’re spotlighting a longtime volunteer who holds down the Personal Care Table just about every Thursday! Chris has been a Thursday staple for the last 2 years, delivering not just toiletry items to our guests, but kindness and hospitality as well.

Chris is an incredibly humble volunteer who does what’s needed to get the job done. She can be found helping guests fill out personal care selection forms, handing the bags out to guests, and filling bags in the back, all in the same day if needed. While Personal Care can become a hectic place to be on Thursdays, with most guests coming to pick up their bags near the end of the meal, Chris is able to calmly answer questions while giving bags back which really helps guests who may be anxious or stressed.

We can’t imagine not having such a stalwart supporter of BSM with us each week. Thank you, Chris, for all you do for our guests!
